Wooclap
Since winter semester 2023/24, the Wooclap tool will be available to all members of TU Dortmund University.
Wooclap enables synchronous and asynchronous queries as well as live interactions in courses. In addition to simple multiple-choice questions, word clouds or quizzes can also be set up. The questions can be presented in the course via a projector and in video conferences using a split screen, while a PowerPoint add-in allows the polls to be integrated directly into the course slides. In addition, a Wooclap activity in Moodle can be used to create queries and exchange them between the two systems via an .xml file.
Professional access is required for more extensive queries. There is currently no SSO connection for Wooclap and TU Dortmund University is not yet listed on the registration page. Lecturers and students can already register for Wooclap for free of via TU Dortmund University using their TU Dortmund e-mail address via this link in order to create events.
No registration is required to take part in a survey. Participants go to www.wooclap.com and enter the survey code. Alternatively, participants can access the poll directly via a link or QR code.
As Wooclap is allowed to use the survey results anonymously, it is not recommended to request personal data or conduct sensitive surveys with Wooclap.
