TU Dortmund University's OPENmoodle is available at open.moodle.tu-dortmund.de since September 2025. As a first step, we have opened the OER area for you. OER Open Educational Resources are learning materials (Moodle courses) that are made available for reuse under an open license. Anyone who knows the link to OPENmoodle at TU Dortmund University can access the OER area as a guest, i.e. without registering - read content, view images or videos, etc. Changes to the content cannot be made and the use of activities that generate data, such as wiki, forums, glossary, etc., is not possible. Personalized access is required for this. Members of TU Dortmund University can log in as usual via SSO, external users can set up an account via the edu-ID. With this account, you can also use the other OPENmoodle services later, provided the course owner activates you.
As a member of TU Dortmund University, you can offer OER courses and later also open courses, which are also aimed at external target groups, for example. You can also use the platform for research and cooperation, conferences and workshops and TU Dortmund University students to support your study organization.
