Adobe Connect
Adobe Connect is a web-based platform that enables lecturers to set up digital classrooms and interact with students online. Presentations and other digital materials can be easily shared. Screen sharing is also possible. Whiteboards are available for interaction with students. There are also surveys and quizzes as well as a chat. The sessions can be recorded. With its high level of interactivity and customisability, Adobe Connect is particularly suitable for smaller seminars and group work.
The number of participants is limited to 200 people. For larger events, please use Zoom.
TU Dortmund University does not operate its own Adobe Connect, but uses the DFNconf service from the DFN Association (DFN e.V.). Access is available to all TU Dortmund University employees.
Note: A direct connection to Moodle is not possible, as the corresponding plugin is not available for current Moodle versions.
