OBS Studio
OBS Studio (also known as Open Broadcaster Software or OBS for short) is a free and platform-independent recording and streaming software.
With OBS Studio you can record your lectures and presentations and capture your screen, webcam and audio sources. You can create different scenes to seamlessly switch between different content and views. This is helpful to focus on specific content. The appearance of your recordings can be customized.
OBS Studio also allows you to stream content in real time via different commercial platforms (e.g. YouTube, Twitch). However, the use of Zoom is generally recommended for the transmission of courses.
