Please note that you need an extra password to use the TU Dortmund's wireless networks. In case you do not have an extra password for the wireless networks or you forgot yours, you can create a new password on this page:

Delete an old eduroam configuration on Windows
1. Open “System Preferences” and select “Network & Internet” --> “Wi-Fi”.
2. Open the “Manage Known Networks” menu item and look for the “eduroam” profile.
3. Click the “Do Not Save” button to delete the old eduroam profile.
Configuring eduroam on Windows
1. Open your web browser and visit the geteduroam website at the following link: geteduroam
2. Select the appropriate operating system and download the geteduroam Client.
3. Run the installer as an administrator. You may be prompted for administrator permissions.
4. To begin setup, click the “Connect to eduroam” button.
5. Type “Dortmund” into the search bar and select “Dortmund University of Technology” as the institution.
6. Confirm your selection by clicking “Next”.
7. Now install the eduroam service certificate by clicking the “Install” button.
8. Click “Yes” to confirm that the certificate can be installed on your system. Click “Next” to continue the installation.
9. Geben Sie Ihren Uni-Account-Benutzernamen zzgl. @tu-dortmund und das im Service Portal hinterlegte WLAN-Passwort ein. Bestätigen Sie die Eingabe mit "Verbinden".
Sollten Sie Ihr WLAN-Passwort vergessen haben, können Sie dieses jederzeit im ServicePortal unter folgenden Link: WLAN-Passwort überprüfen.
10. Tap “Connect” to establish a connection. This is only necessary during the initial setup; your smartphone will then automatically connect to the eduroam wireless network whenever it is within range.
