Confluence

Confluence

Confluence is a wiki software that you can use to support knowledge management and collaborative work in teaching and research.

All members of TU Dortmund University can log into Confluence directly with their UniAccount to create and manage documents together.

You can apply for temporary access for guests using the e-learning account application form. The page content can be edited synchronously and asynchronously by several people. A wide range of templates and macros are available for designing the pages.

With the help of automatic versioning, you can create previous working versions and compare different versions with each other. You can access and edit the knowledge stored in Confluence at any time and any place.

In addition to document management, Confluence also offers extended wiki functionalities such as jointly managed team calendars and Office integration.

Due to a current security vulnerability, the IT service Confluence of TU Dortmund University can only be reached with an active VPN connection or only from the TU Dortmund University network for an indefinite period of time.
